Will There Be McDonalds Afterward?

A few years ago, we were taping one of "The Magic Club" TV shows with a group of very young children from a McRae pre-school. Normally we would not have had children this young for the taping, but the teacher and parents wanted them to be on the show.

I knew I would have to have a very special "mystery guest' for a group this young, so I asked Ben Jones to be on the show. Everyone knows and loves Ben, and I thought the kids would have fun with him.

Did I mention the kids were very young?

We magically produce Ben, who came out very bright and exciting ,as only Ben can be. The kids could not have cared less. They didn't know who Ben was... they didn't know who I was... they didn't know what WMAZ-TV was... all they knew... all they cared about? They were going to McDonalds when they left!
